New damped luggage to aid handling
Triumph have upgraded their luggage mounting system for the arrival of the new Tiger Explorer. The latest version of the Triumph Dynamic Luggage System allows the two panniers to move side to side through a limited arc independently of the bike, linked by a damped connector. The idea is that it doesn't upset the chassis balance.
Meanwhile, the top box has limited lateral movement through the sliding carriage mounting arrangement. On the Tiger Explorer, the latest generation also integrates electrical connections, which means when the top box is in place the internal power socket is ready for use.
